Mumbai: The Women’s Selection Committee on Friday announced India’s squad for the one-off Test against Australia Women, scheduled to be played at the iconic WACA in Perth from 6 to 9 March 2026, following the conclusion of the white-ball series.

Harmanpreet Kaur will lead the Indian side in the red-ball contest, with Smriti Mandhana named as vice-captain. The squad blends experience with emerging talent as India prepare for a challenging Test assignment against the world champions on Australian soil.

In a significant update, wicketkeeper G Kamalini has been ruled out of India’s Australia tour due to injury. The selectors have named Uma Chetry as her replacement in both the T20I and ODI squads for the tour.

Meanwhile, the selection committee has also unveiled the India A squad for the ACC Rising Star Women’s Asia Cup 2026, which will be played in the T20 format in Thailand. The tournament is aimed at giving India’s next generation of cricketers valuable international exposure.
